eSenior Helper is a free information service for people who are 50 and older, and for the families who help them. We publish guides on senior discounts, utility and food assistance, health coverage, and everyday money questions. We write in plain language and in large type, because a benefit you cannot read about is a benefit you do not get.
We are not a government agency. We are not affiliated with Medicare, Social Security, or any state program. We do not sell insurance and we do not give medical, legal, or financial advice. When a program has an official application, we point you to the official site and tell you it is free to apply there.
Some of the companies and programs we write about pay us when a reader asks to be connected with them. That is how the site stays free. It also means you should hold us to a standard: every guide we publish should be useful even if you never click a single offer. If one is not, tell us and we will fix it.
